Motorola E3 to launch in India on September 19

The device, which was officially announced in the UK in July, is expected to retail in India between Rs 7,000-Rs 10,000.

Lenovo is expected to launch its affordable smartphone Moto E3 in India on September 19.

The device, which was officially announced in the UK in July, is expected to retail in India between Rs 7,000-Rs 10,000.

The handset features a 5-inch HD 720x1280 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.0GHz MediaTek quad-core processor along with 1GB RAM. It runs on Android Marshmallow.

In terms of storage, the E3 equips 8GB internal storage, which can be updated to 32GB via external microSD card.

The smartphone has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper for clicking images. The whole unit is backed up by a 2,800mAh battery and is equipped with all connectivity options including 4G.

Lenovo has launched a couple of other phones at this year at the international tech fair IFA, going on in Berlin.

It has launched new phones under the K6 series, the A Plus, and P2. While the pricing of the K6 series phones have not yet been disclosed, the A Plus will be available for approximately Rs 5,200 and P2 for roughly Rs 18,500.
