Sony launches MDR-1000X headphones at Rs 30,990
The company also claims that the new headphones have much better sound output on compressed audio.
Sony has unveiled the all new MDR-1000X active noise-cancelling headphones in India at Rs 30,990.
Although the new headphones are a tad expensive, it has a lot of gripping facets that help users achieve more output. The headphones are Bluetooth-enabled, which helps users connect it to smartphones or portable devices conveniently.
Another nifty function on this device is the Personal NC Optimiser that can analyse the shape of a person’s head and how that individual wears a headphone to ensure apt noise-cancellation.
The company also claims that the new headphones have much better sound output on compressed audio, thanks to the upscaled DSEE HX. The Quick Attention Feature Mode is another impressive feature, which lets users place their hands on the touch-sensitive panel on the ear casing to reduce the volume.
The Ambient Sound mode is yet another handy feature, helping users to adjust sound levels. Sony claims the MDR-1000X headphones will have 20 hours of battery life when using Bluetooth and active noise-cancellation. The device also features NFC for quick connectivity to source devices.
It also comes with an extra cable for wired connectivity, an airline adapter, and a leather case. The new headphones look good and hold a lot of potential to compete against Bose’s premium QuietComfort line.
