Smartron launches a 2-in-1 tbook flex notebook
This multi-functional detachable notebook sports a 12.2-inch WQXGA display and starts at a price of Rs 42,990.
Smartron has launched a new laptop named – tbook flex. The tbook flex claims to be a multi-functional 2-in-1 detachable notebook, which sports a 12.2-inch WQXGA display with a 2560x1600 resolution.
The tbook flex laptop features a Magnesium and Aluminium alloy metallic body with dual tone finish (Orange/Grey and Black/Grey). It also comes with a flixstand with a hinge design and an ability to flex up to 150 degrees as per the needs of the user.
On the specifications front, the tbook flex comes in two variants, where – one is powered by 7th-Gen Intel Core m3, 7Y30, (1.00Ghz up to 2.60Ghz) and the other with 7th Gen Intel Core i5, 7Y54, (1.20Ghz up to 3.20Ghz). It has integrated Intel HD graphics backed by 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. In terms of storage, it features a 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD). The laptop boasts a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera sensor. The tbook flex comes with two integrated 8 Ohms/1W speakers. The tbook flex is fuelled by 40Whr Lithium-ion Polymer battery.
In terms of connectivity, the laptop supports wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz) Wi-Fi, Intel WiDi (Wi-Fi direct) and Bluetooth 4.0. On the I/O, the laptop features two USB 3.0 ports, one microSD slot, USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 (that enables users to transfer data at rates up to 40Gbps) and USB Type C (can be used for fast charging as well) ports each and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The provided Bluetooth keyboard is attached with a Dockpin connection. This detachable keyboard comes with backlit keys and P2P Trackpad. For added security, the laptop is equipped with an in-built fingerprint sensor.
The tbook flex is priced at Rs 42,990 and Rs 52,990 for the m3 and i5 version respectively.
