Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Mi Edge in the making
Mi Edge will feature a curved edge display, just like Galaxy S7 Edge.
Xiaomi recently launched its Redmi 3S and the Macbook Air look alike, Mi Notebook Air. Following the launch, images of two upcoming devices have also surfaced online. One of the phones is reportedly the Redmi 4, while the other has been tagged as the Mi Edge.
The Redmi 4 images were leaked by a website called Playfuldroid, revealing the device in its full glory. The images show a metal body with a rounded design that is similar to the currently available Redmi series.
The smartphone features a fingerprint reader at the rear panel and capacitive navigation buttons on the front. The front panel is made of a 2.5D glass screen.
The Mi Edge on the other hand seems like a premium device. The highlight of the phone is the curved edge display, similar to the one found on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. This indicates that Xiaomi will be using flexible OLED display for the new smartphone.
There are also reports that the Mi Note 2 will also feature a curved edge display. All rumors will be put to rest once Xiaomi makes any official announcements about the upcoming devices.
