Moto confirms launching massive battery-powered phone in India
The Moto E4 Plus handset with 5000mAh battery will be unveiled on July 12 at 12PM in the country.
The Indian unit of Lenovo-owned Moto has confirmed the launch of the company’s massive battery-powered smartphone Moto E4 Plus in India. The Moto E4 Plus handset with 5000mAh battery will be unveiled on July 12 at 12PM in the country and will go on sale exclusively through online retail store Flipkart, Moto India confirmed in a Twitter post.

The model was unveiled globally along with Moto E4 smartphone with a battery capacity of 2800mAh in June this year. The highlight of the Moto E4 Plus model is its 5000mAh battery. The model challenges Xiaomi’s Redmi 4 smartphone which comes with a 4000mAh battery.
In terms of specifications, the Moto E4 Plus features a 5.5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, is powered by Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2GB RAM, offering 16GB/32GB storage options and a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It operates on Android Nougat 7.1.1 operating system.
On the other hand, Moto E4 features a 5-inch HD (720p) display, is powered by MediaTek MT6747 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage option. The model is available in India and costs Rs 8,999. While the pricing details of the Moto E4 Plus model for the Indian market is yet to be officially announced, the handset may cost around Rs 11,600, based on its global selling price, which is, $179.
