OPPO F9 to get 25MP front camera, specifications leaked

OPPO has teased the smartphone just recently on its official website and now important specifications of the smartphone have been leaked.

OPPO F9 is expected to be announced on August 15 which will be the latest addition to the company’s F series smartphones. OPPO has teased the smartphone just recently on its official website and now, thanks to AndroidPure, important specifications of the smartphone have been leaked.

According to the leaked spec sheet, the screen of the OPPO F9 measures 6.3-inch and it is a full-HD+ panel. The prominent part of the screen is the miniature notch which will surely grab mixed opinions, similar to the standard notch.

While the rear camera setup packs in a 16MP and a 2MP sensor, the front panel is expected to come with a high-end 25MP sensor with the support of artificial intelligence. This shows it is majorly a selfie oriented device.

Moving on to more information the picture reveals, the OPPO F9 is powered by the Helio P60 octa-core chipset which is an all-new unit from the company as it generally incorporates a new chipset in every F series model. The device runs the ColorOS 5.2 operating system.

The storage options include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which could be expanded up to 256GB. It also offers provisions for two SIM cards. It will be available in two colour variants – Red Sun and Blue Twilight.

OPPO F9 will perhaps come this month while the F9 Pro will make us wait for longer which supports VOOC fast charging and, according to how the company touted it, it delivers two hours of talk time in 15 minutes of charge. Other details of the upcoming smartphone has not been revealed yet but the price is expected to fall under the category of Rs 20,000 to 30,000 since it is a mid-range smartphone series.
