Gray Klassen joined BlackBerry in 2000 and was the inventor of the most popular and highly used BBM instant messenger on BlackBerry smartphones. The instant messenger service was completely written by Gary himself. However, as reported by Softpedia, Garry has mysteriously quit BlackBerry after 16 years of service. The reason for his resignation is unclear and the information was posted on his wife, Jenn’s Facebook post. The post read that she was happy that her husband has finally walked out of BlackBerry for the last time. The post seems to have been pulled down at present.

BlackBerry is having trouble keeping its company in financial peace. The only way it is presently making some revenue is from its BlackBerry Enterprise services and a few other security services.
