Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S peeps on AnTuTu with Snapdragon 845 SoC
The Mi MIX 2S is expected to be a marginal update from the previous model.
Xiaomi has been in the news this year with expectations for the Chinese giant to show up with a new version of their flagship Mi MIX 2 at the MWC 2018. Rumours have been suggesting that Xiaomi might either launch their highly-anticipated Mi 7 flagship or the successor to their last year’s Mi MIX 2. MyDrivers has recently come with new leaks to suggest the latter, hinting at a Mi MIX2S unveiling at the MWC 2018.
The report says that a device by the codename of ‘polaris’ has done rounds AnTuTu, with scores as high as 270461. ‘Polaris’ is believed to be the codename for the Mi MIX 2S, which indicates that Xiaomi might be showing off an upgraded version of the Mi MIX 2 at the MWC 2018. Nothing else has been revealed about the device as of now.
The Mi MIX 2S is expected to sport a Snapdragon 845 chipset, as suggested by the numbers the device has been putting on AnTuTu. The smartphone is expected to retain a similar body and other specifications. However, ot is also expected that Xiaomi could go all the way to unveil the Mi 7 flagship with a design pretty similar to the Mi MIX 2.
