Video: LG's flagship V20 fails durability test
In a recent video the device was dropped several times from varying distances to test its durability.
LG has just launched its flagship smartphone, V20 and the smartphone has already been subjected to various stringent tests. In a recent video from Android Authority the device was dropped several times from varying distances to test its durability.
LG’s latest smartphone features a metal design and has military-grade protection. It packs in removable rear panel and battery. The test includes the phone being dropped on its back, bottom side, and screen. Following the back drop, the device’s back case came off, and the battery also broke apart from the phone.
The smartphone was fully functional even after the drops and screen did not suffer any damages, except for some blemishes on the side.
The smartphone was then dropped from an even higher height, and although scratches or cracks were noticed during the first and second drop, it seems that the third drop was fatal for the handset’s display. The smartphone’s display cracked into small pieces, but the device remained functional.
