WhatsApp update gets new features
WhatsApp is constantly being implemented with design changes every week.
WhatsApp has been constantly on the move, making changes to design, features and a lot more. With the recent new update (which is not yet released to public) WhatsApp has made a few changes to design and added a new feature.
As for the design change, if you head to the settings page on WhatsApp, you will find that the profile photo is not square anymore, but is circular with floating action button to change your photo.
The second change seen was addition to language. In the settings, under chats, you can now see App Language, which can be changed to another language, including English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and a few other regional languages.
Lastly, a Data Usage section has been added too. This option gives you control over the media files that get downloaded. You can choose whether you want to download only photos, or videos also when using mobile data or even choose to download them or not when you are roaming.
The final updated app is yet to hit the play stores, but those who are looking at getting the update earlier can download the new updated app and sideload it manually. Click here to download the WhatsApp app directly from the website. Alternatively, in order to get the new updates, you can also signup to the beta program by WhatsApp.
