In a bid to make its iPhones harder to crack, Apple is introducing a new security feature to its iOS which will make it difficult for hackers or law enforcement agencies to access the device.
With the new security feature, called USB Restricted Mode, if the iPhone has not been unlocked over a period of a week, the iOS will disable access via USB for any data extraction.
The feature was first spotted in iOS 11.4 code. While it disables USB data, it will continue to charge the phone and re-enable data access if the phone is unlocked normally, TechCrunch reported.
