Xiaomi increases prices for Redmi 6, Mi TV 4 Pro and Mi Powerbank 2i
The price increase is attributed to the Rupee-Dollar differences, will come in effect from midnight of 11th November.
Xiaomi has been known to offer some of the lowest prices for numerous of the quality products they sell in the Indian market. The recently unveiled Mi LED TV 4 Pro and the Redmi 6 series were launched two months ago at such competitive prices that made them better value over rivals. However, during the launch, Xiaomi said that they would be bumping the prices eventually keeping in mind the inflation. And now, they are ready to take that step.
Xiaomi put out a public declaration on their social media channels, speaking about the inflation and the new adjusted prices. The products that will see hiked price tags now include the Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, Mi LED TV 4C Pro 32, Mi LED TV 4A Pro 49 and the Mi Powerbank 2i Black. The price adjustment is attributed to the 15 per cent depreciation that Rupee has seen against Dollar since the start of the year. The new prices will help Xiaomi prevent incurring losses for the aforementioned products.
Therefore, the new prices for these products are as follows:
Redmi 6A (2GB/16GB): Rs 6,599 (increase of Rs 600) [Review]
Redmi 6A (2GB/32GB): Rs 7,499 (increase of Rs 500)
Redmi 6 (3GB/32GB): Rs 8,499 (increase of Rs 500) [Review]
Mi LED TV 4C Pro 32: Rs 15,999 (increase of Rs 1,000)
