Xiaomi may launch Mi 6 Plus with 6GB RAM, 4000mAh battery today

The standard Xiaomi Mi 6 model is also expected to launch in India this month.

Chinese electronic manufacturer Xiaomi is expected to unveil an upgrade model of this year’s flagship smartphone, the Mi 6. The company had teased a device launch on July 11 on China’s microblogging website Weibo, questioning the device to sport “6GB of RAM”.

It also released a teaser video further revealing some specifications to be seen on the device, including Snapdragon 800 series chipset, UFS Storage, DDR RAM, 3D glass body and a larger display.

The video also reveals that the device will be feature a 4000mAh battery; a 22MP camera, which can record 4K display and has a beauty mode; 4G netcom, a USB Type-C port with Quick charge, an IR baser and NFC.

The standard Xiaomi Mi 6 model was launched in China in April 2017. The model is also expected to go on sale in India this month. To recall, the phone features a 5.15-inch display, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, also sports 6GB of RAM and offers 64GB/128GB storage options. It operated on Android and is powered by a 3350mAh battery.
