The next iPhone is rumoured to include wireless charging technology, but reportedly not in the box.

Recent reports about the upcoming iPhone, the iPhone 8, have claimed that the wireless technology, rumoured to be introduced in the device, will need to be purchased separately. The charger will not be provided in the box.

Industry source had earlier disclosed that the next iPhone will come with wireless charging technology.

While some reports are claiming that the technology will be supported by most of the iPhone models, other rounds of reports are denying it. According to one such report, the technology will be restricted only to the top-tier iPhone 8 model.

The iPhone 8 is expected to use inductive wireless charging rather than a long-range, supplied by Luxshare, who had supplied wireless charging for Apple Watch.
