Huawei launches P8 Lite with Android Nougat

The company is also expected to launch its P10 Lite smartphone in the coming months.

The smartphone is priced at EUR 239 (approx Rs 17,300) and will be available in Black colour in German market starting end of January.

Huawei has announced the launch of a new version of its P8 Lite smartphone which was launched back in 2015. The new smartphone is an enhanced version of P9 Lite. The company is also expected to launch its P10 Lite smartphone in the coming months.

Talking of specifications, the P8 Lite sports a 5.2-inch full-HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Kirin 655 octa-core SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat and packs 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card.

The huawei P8 Lite comes equipped with a 12MP rear camera with LED flash and autofocus, while there is an 8MP front facing camera for selfies. On the connectivity front, the device offers LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and NFC. It is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery and also features a fingerprint sensor for added security.

The smartphone is priced at EUR 239 (approx Rs 17,300) and will be available in Black colour in German market starting end of January. The device will also be made available in White and Gold colour options, and in a single-SIM variant in the coming weeks.
