Huawei announces Honor 5A

Huawei has unveiled its latest Honor 5 series flagship, Honor 5A smartphone in China, priced at $106 (approximately Rs 7,000).

With a 5.5-inch screen display, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC, which includes a 64-bit octa-core CPU based on ARM’s Cortex-A53 cores and Adreno 405 GPU built on the 28nm LP node.

In terms of storage, Honor 5A features 2GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card. The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera accompanied by an LED Flash light, while it comes with 8MP of front camera.

Honor 5A is powered by a 3100mAh battery, and is available in six colours, including black, gold, blue, pink, yellow and gold.

However, the availability of the smartphone is still not confirmed for the Indian market.
