Samsung Galaxy Note 9 may come with a bigger battery
A new rumour claims that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will come with a 4000mAh battery.
The news and rumours about the upcoming Samsung flagship dubbed the Galaxy Note 9 keeps on pouring in. The latest bit of information comes via the serial Twitter tipster, Ice Universe where he has published two design schematics of the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
The design shows the positioning of the dual camera systems that correlate with the size of the battery. This shows that the next Samsung flagship will come with horizontal dual cameras.
A report by GSMArena notes that if this is true, then the Galaxy Note 9 will include a slightly bigger battery. The Note 9 will position the fingerprint scanner under the cameras. The report goes on to add, there are tons of other hardware requirements to be taken into consideration when designing the Galaxy Note 9, but since the battery is the thickest and biggest module, the camera sensors simply can't fit over it. The initial rumours suggest a 4000mAh capacity will be used in the handset.
Another piece of information that comes via GSMArena is that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will come with a faster wireless charger that does not need the handset to be placed on the dock for hours. An FCC listing shows a new wireless charger with model number EP-N6100 that supports a whopping 12V at 2.1A input. This is a major upgrade over last year’s wireless charger. Òutput of the charger is not mentioned but the input increase suggests faster charging.
