If you have been one from the unfortunate lot to receive the original Google Pixel with faulty microphone, the company has agreed to pay up to USD 500 for the issue.

A group of Pixel and Pixel XL owners reportedly filed a lawsuit against the search giant back in 2018, accusing it of knowingly selling faulty devices. According to Engadget, Google has decided to now settle the lawsuit.

Google has set aside USD 7.25 million for the settlement fund. Customers who experienced the problem more than once can claim USD 500, while those who faced it once will be eligible for USD 350. Devices manufactured before 4 January 2017 are eligible for the payout and owners must join the settlement by 9 July 2019.
