Honor 8 receives good response in China

Huawei’s Honor 8 which was launched a few days ago has received a overwhelming response in China, getting over 5 million registrations within 4 days. The registrations will close on July 18, which means the users can still be a part of the first flash sale.

The first flash sale will take place on July 19. The smartphone is also available for international pre-order and will start shipping starting July 19.

Talking of the specifications the Honor 8 sports a 5.2 inch 2.5D curved HD display with 1080*1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Kirin 950 octa core processor clubbed with Mali T88 MP 4 GPU.

On the photography front, the device packs a dual camera setup, featuring a 12MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and laser autofocus. It also has an 8MP front facing camera.

The device weighs around 153 gm and is 7.45mm in thickness. It houses a fingerprint sensor on the rear and also offers Type-C charging and 4G LTE connectivity. It runs on company’s own EUI 4.1 wrapped under Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Honor 8  is juiced by a 3000mAh battery and will ship in Pearl White, Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, Sakura Pink, and Sapphire Blue colours.

The device will be available in two variants, the 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage variant will cost $300, while the second variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage will be sold for $374.
