Nokia X5/Nokia 5.1 Plus: Rumored price and specifications
The much-rumoured device, Nokia X5 aka Nokia 5.1 Plus is set to debut in China on July 17.
HMD Global was supposed to unveil the much-rumoured smartphone — the Nokia X5 in China last week on July 11, but the event was cancelled. The company had to cancel the launch event due to some issues (still unknown). The much-rumoured device is now set to debut in China on July 17, according to GizChina. Although, it hasn't been officially announced that when the Nokia X5 see the light of the day. The Nokia X5 is widely rumoured to be labelled as the Nokia 5.1 Plus in the global markets, including India.
A lot has already leaked about the Nokia X5 aka Nokia 5.1 Plus, giving a fair idea of what to expect from the next Nokia smartphone. If reports are to be believed, the Nokia 5X would feature a 5.85-inch HD+ TFT display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. At its core, the handset is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 chipset aided by up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The handset could run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
Optics wise, the Nokia 5X could feature a dual rear camera system — one with 13MP camera sensor and another one with a 5MP camera sensor assisted by a LED flash. For selfies, there is an 8MP camera sensor. It is likely to pack a 3000mAh battery.
As for the pricing, a Chinese website named Baidu has claimed that the Nokia 5X could costs CNY 1,000 (approximately Rs 10,270), that will spice up the budget smartphone segment. An older report indicated that the device could be priced at CNY 799 (approximately Rs 8,200).
