2019 iPhone XI to get 2018 Huawei Mate 20 Pro feature
Noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has detailed some of the features that could appear in the upcoming Apple flagship.
In a research note released by Ming-Chi Kuo, the Apple analyst has revealed some of the features that could make its way on the 2019 iPhone 11. As per a report by Macrumors, Kuo has detailed that the 2019 iPhone models could heavily feature attributes that are present on the current lineup of iPhones. The most notable similarities lie in the handset sizes with the iPhone XI coming in 6.5-inch, 6.3inch and 5.8-inch sizes.
Kuo details some of the changes expected with the 2019 iPhones and mentions that the LCD version of the iPhone could come sporting 4GB RAM which will be an upgrade from 3GB RAM found on the iPhone XR. A feature that Apple will borrow from its Android counterpart, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will be the ability to charge other devices wirelessly (reverse wireless charging) and this will be one of the main features of the upcoming iPhone range. Other new features expected with the 2019 iPhones include a frosted glass casing, larger batteries and upgraded technology for indoor navigation and positioning.
Kuo notes, “The new 5.8" OLED may support DSDS, and the new 6.1" LCD may be upgraded to 4GB. All of part of the new models’ main upgrades include Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) for indoor positioning and navigation, frosted glass casing, bilateral wireless charging for charging other devices, upgraded Face ID (with a higher power flood illumination), larger batteries, and triple camera feature (wide, telephoto, and ultra-wide lens).”
Kuo also goes on to mention that the 2019 line-up of iPhones will feature a lightning connector as opposed to the heavily rumoured USB Type-C charging port. Lastly, the upcoming iPhones will feature a notch that’s the same size instead of smaller ones.
