Asus ZenFone Live L1 with 18:9 display, Snapdragon 425 SoC unveiled
The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels along with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
ASUS has unveiled its latest budget smartphone, dubbed ZenFone Live L1 in Indonesia. Earlier this month, the first Android Go version of the ZenFone Live L1 was announced that runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box. The new smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and is topped with company's ZenUI 5 skin.
The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels along with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz, clubbed with Adreno 308 GPU. There are a 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant and a 3GB RAM/32GB storage model. Whereas, the Android Go version of the ZenFone Live L1 has 1GB of RAM.
In terms of optics, the device is equipped with a 13MP sensor along with a f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. Upfront, there is a 5MP selfie camera with a f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The device is backed by a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, OTG support, GPS, WiFi, and 4G LTE among others. The smartphone will be available in Space Blue, Rose Pink, Gold and Midnight Black colours.
The Asus ZenFone Live L1 retails at IDR 1.4 million (roughly Rs 6,700) for the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage model. Whereas, for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model, will be available in the Indonesian market at IDR 1.7 million (roughly Rs 8,150).
