There have been numerous leaks about the alleged Nokia 8 smartphone from the past few months. It was expected that the Nokia 8 will be the second-in-line flagship of the HMD Global-owned company with a thin-bezel display and upper mid-range specifications. However, a more believable leak has surfaced and will shatter all the myths surrounding the smartphone.

A report from VentureBeat claims to have the original images of the alleged Nokia 8 smartphone. The handset carries on the design ethos of the existing HMD Global led Nokia’s lineup, with curved glass edges, simple geometric shape based capacitive buttons and a home button. The rear carries a dual-lens camera setup with a LED flash and focusing sensor. The device is a metallic unibody unit with curved protection glass on top.

The alleged Nokia 8 also seems to have the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the top. The rear camera module also has the Zeiss branding, confirming the benefits of the deal between HMD Global and Carl Zeiss optics.

This could be the mystic HMD Global TA-1012 device that has been doing rounds of the GeekBench benchmarking website. If both the leaks are related, then the Nokia 8 could be sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and come with 4GB of RAM  along with 64GB of storage.
