Moto to launch budget-friendly Moto C Plus phone today in India
Based on the European market pricing, the smartphone could cost somewhere around Rs 8,300 in India.
Lenovo-owned Moto on June 19 will announce the launch of Moto C Plus, another budget-friendly Moto smartphone in the Moto C series in India. The smartphone will go on sale exclusively through Flipkart, however, the release date for it is yet to be announced by the firm.
Moto C was launched at a starting price of EUR 119 for 1GBRAM/16GB storage model, thus based on its European market pricing, the smartphone could cost somewhere around Rs 8,300 in India.
In terms of specifications, the Moto C plus features a 5-inch HD (720x1280) display, powered by MediTek MT6737 processor coupled with 1GB/2GB of RAM, offering 16GB of storage option which can be further expanded using a microSD card. The device includes an 8MP rear camera sensor and a 2MP front sensor. Fuelled by 4000mAh battery, the phone runs on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat.
The standard Moto C model is available at a price of Rs 5,999 in the country. The 4G-enabled Moto C features a 5-inch display, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 32GB), 5MP rear and 2MP front camera and 2350 mAh battery.
