Leaked video suggests USB Type-C port on Samsung Galaxy Note 7
New video reveals the USB Type-C cable of the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 phablet.
Samsung’s much anticipated smartphone, Galaxy Note 7 will be unveiled in the coming weeks. With the launch time inching closer, the leaks have also started piling up. The latest being a video that suggests integration of a USB Type-C charging on Note 7.
The device has been seen on many leaked images, but none of them confirms that a USB Type-C charging port is employed. However, a video from Tinhte reveals three cables, one belonging to Microsoft Lumia 950, while other two belong to Samsung made in Vietnam. One of the cable has the model number N930, which we have seen on the previous leaks.
USB Type-C connectivity ensures fast charging of the device, high speed data transfers and importantly the charging plug is reversible. The company is expected to unveil the device during the Unpacked 2016 in August 2.

Previous leaks confirmed the integration of the iris scanner on the Galaxy Note 7. The images revealed the instructions on how users can setup the iris scanner for unlocking their Note 7.
On the specification front, the Galaxy Note 7 is expected to feature a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen with QHD resolution. It will be powered by either a Snapdragon or an Exynos processor paired with 6GB of RAM.
