Sony Xperia F8331 to feature a new design: new leaked images
Sony Xperia F8331 to offer powerful specs with a new design.
After showcasing the Xperia X line of smartphones in February this year, Sony is yet to expand its X smartphone lineup. But some new images have surfaced on the GFXBench suggesting a new Sony smartphone.
The new smartphone dubbed as the Sony Xperia F8331 seems to be company’s next flagship device. The benchmarking test reveals that the device will feature a 5.1 inch display with 1080p resolution and will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
The smartphone will be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. The processor will be accompanied by a Adreno 530 graphics processing unit.
Photography options include a 21 MP rear snapper, while there is a 12MP front shooter also on board. The device will be capable of recording 4K videos using both front as well as rear camera. It will come with 32GB of internal storage, but the external storage capacity is yet to be confirmed.
Sony will be using a new design approach this time around, making the top and bottom of the phone flat, while the sides will be curved. The leaked images also suggest a dual LED flash on the back, while the front panel will house an NFC antenna and stereo speakers.
The smartphone also seems to feature USB Type-C charging port, the first time to be integrated on a Sony smartphone. The device will also have a 3.5 mm audio jack.
