Samsung to start pre-orders for 6GB RAM Note 7 from August 26
Samsung China has announced August 26 as the pre-order date for the base model.
Samsung recently launched its much anticipated Note 7 phablet globally with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Now, the Note 7 with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage has been tipped to be certified by the Chinese equivalent of the FCC.
New leaks from the underbelly of the Chinese blogosphere suggests that the 6GB RAM/128 GB Galaxy Note 7 will cost 6088 yuan in China, while the base 4 GB/64 GB model will be available for 5688 yuan.
Samsung China has announced August 26 as the pre-order date, which indeed could be the day when a Note 7 with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage would officially be available for sale.
To recall, the Galaxy Note 7 sports a 5.7-inch QHD bezel less display and has a Exynos 8 SoC at its heart, backed by 4GB of RAM. The phablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has 64GB of internal storage capacity, which is expandable using a microSD card.
The device is also IP68 certified making it dust and water resistant. In the imaging department, the phablet will sport a 12-megapixel snapper on the rear panel, with dual-pixel technology, PDAF and LED flash. As for selfie fans, the Galaxy Note7 will have a 5MP shooter. There is 3500mAh battery on the phablet with support for super fast charging.
