Coolpad Mega 5A goes official with Android 8.1 Oreo
The smartphone is the successor to the Coolpad Mega 4A, launched back in April this year.
Chinese manufacturer Coolpad has unveiled a new budget smartphone called Coolpad Mega 5A in India. The smartphone is the successor to the Coolpad Mega 4A, launched back in April this year.
The Coolpad Mega 5A is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9850K chipset aided by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 128GB. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The device flaunts a 5.47-inch HD+ IPS display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The handset is fueled by a 2500mAh battery.
On the photography front, there is a dual rear camera setup, comprising of an 8MP camera sensor and a 0.3MP VGA sensor along with a LED flash and PDAF. For selfies, the device features a 5MP sensor with a flash. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Micro-USB, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Coolpad Mega 5A costs Rs 6,999.
