Smartron unveils tphone with Snapdragon 810, 4GB RAM

Smartron's all new smartphone tphone looks like a good addition to the mid-ranged handsets.

Hyderabad: Close on the heels of the launch of the revolutionary tbook, Smartron, India’s global technology company riding the Internet of Things (IoT) wave unveiled its next flagship product, tphone.

tphone is an ultra thin smartphone, smartly styled with incredibly bold dual tone scheme, and is one of the lightest smartphone (149 gm) in its category.

In terms of display, the tphone comes in a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD (1920X180 pixels), 401 PPI with super AMOLED screen along with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Under the hood, the tphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC along with a 4GB RAM, for better multimedia experience. Moreover, the smartphone utilises the latest version of Android Marshmallow.

In order to ensure adequate storage capability, the makers have added 64GB internally along with added tcloud storage.

The handset features a 13MP dual flash primary camera; a front snapper of 4MP is also integrated for clicking selfies and video-calling.

The Hybrid SIM smartphone (Micro+ Nano) has a 3000mAh lithium-ion polymer battery assuring a long battery life; a Type-C charger with Quick Charge 2.0 facilitates rapid charging.

The handset comes in four stunning colours on matte metal fine finish namely Classic Grey, Metallic Pink, Steel Blue and Sunrise Orange and is priced at Rs. 22,999.

It will be available for registration on smartron.com and will be on sale as early as June 2016 on Smartron tstore.
