Nokia 6.1 price reduced in India ahead of Nokia 6.1 Plus launch
The Nokia 6.1 runs on Snapdragon 630 chipset aided by up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage.
While the Nokia 6.1 Plus is all set to make its debut on the Indian shores on August 21, the Nokia 6.1, which was launched in April this year, has received a price cut.
Ahead of the launch, HMD Global has reduced the price of the Nokia 6.1 in India. The company launched the Nokia 6.1 at Rs 16,999 for the 3GB variant and Rs 18,999 for the 4GB variant. Now, after the price cut of Rs 1,500, the device retails at Rs 15,499 for the 3GB variant and Rs 17,499 for the 4GB variant.
To recall, the Nokia 6.1 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. At its core, the handset runs on Snapdragon 630 chipset aided by up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable via microSD card. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The smartphone draws its power from a 3000mAh battery.
There is a 16MP rear camera with a LED flash and an 8MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB-Type C. Additionally, the company asserted that it will soon bring Android Pie update to all devices.
