Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi is expected to launch its Redmi Note 5A today in the Chinese market. The images of the boxes carrying the Redmi Note 5A were tipped earlier hinting the launch.
The smartphone will be the successor of the Redmi Note 4A and will be a cheaper version of the Redmi Note 5. The device is said to feature a front flash for selfies in low light.
According to Gizbot, the alleged smartphone will come in two variants. The high-end variant is expected to come equipped with a 16MP rear camera
If the rumours are to be believed, The Redmi Note 5A will sport a 5.5-inch display and will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device is said to draw power from a 3080mAh battery. It is also expected to pack a dual camera setup with Omni Vision sensor and will be priced around CNY 999 (roughly Rs 10,000).
