Moto G6 Plus leaked: To be available in 5 colours
The Moto G6 Plus is also seen with a narrow-bezel 18:9 display and a front-mounted fingerprint scanner.
After Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 series launched in last week, it wasn’t long before arch-rival Lenovo-led Motorola would be readying its midrange fighter, the G6 range. The Moto G6 has been out in the world of leaks and rumours for a while, and now we have another glimpse of the upcoming smartphone — this time in all of its colours.
Folks at Android Headlines have features a leaked image of Motorola’s upcoming midrange G6 series, showing all the colours the phone will be available in. The photo is claimed to show the bigger G6 Plus and is expected to come in silver, gold, white, dark blue and cyan. Apart from the colours, one can also figure out what the G6 Plus will be made of — glass and metal — something that will differentiate it from its rivals in the market.
The leaked photo also reaffirms the presence of a narrow-bezel 18:9 display. However, the bezels are not pretty thin, especially at the bottom with the ‘Motorola’ branding and the fingerprints sensor, which is surprisingly still sitting at the front. There also appears to be an LED flash accompanying the selfie camera. The rear, however, is reminiscent of the recently launched Moto X4, especially with the curved glass panel and dual camera module.
The G6 series is expected to debut with Android Oreo 8.0 and could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630/636/660 chipset alongside 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Expect Motorola to price it competitively to fight against the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
