Apple iPhone SE sales to begin from April 8 in India

Yesterday, Apple hiked the price of the new iPhone from Rs 30,000 to Rs 39,000.

Mumbai: At the keynote event on March 21, Apple unveiled the much-awaited iPhone SE. Since its release, the iPhone SE has been quite a discussion amongst Apple fans in India, after its price was hiked by Rs 9,000. (Read more: Apple shoots up iPhone SE price by Rs 9,000 for India)

Although it was known till now that the new 4-inch iPhone will be launched sometime in April, it has been confirmed by retailers that April 8th is when it will start being available in India.

The iPhone SE features four-inch Retina display, an advanced 64-bit A9 chip with M9 motion co-processor, a 12-megapixel iSight camera with True Tone flash, Live Photos, 4K video, faster LTE and Wi-Fi, and Touch ID with Apple Pay.
