The OnePlus 3T Midnight Black features space-grade aluminum with three carefully applied dark coatings 14 microns thick and maintains the natural look and feel of metal.

One of the worst nightmares for any Android smartphone user would be the elimination of the headphone jack. After what Apple pulled off with its iPhone 7 flagship devices last year, several other Android players for example, HTC followed similar footsteps. Recently, there have been a lot of rumours suggesting that OnePlus might ditch the headphone jack in its upcoming OnePlus 5 smartphone. However, it appears like CEO of the Chinese tech-giant has finally offered some clarification.

Carl Pei’s followers on Twitter are constantly flooding the guy with questions regarding an official confirmation on whether they indeed plan on getting rid of the headphone jack in its OnePlus 5 device. Twitter user, @ElkastawyMauro on May 20 asked Carl Pei (@getpaid) regarding the same. Following which, Carl Pei replied saying, “Why did the headphone jack cross the road?”

This only went on to create more confusion. The tweet is a reference made to the popular riddle joke, “Why did the chicken cross the road.”

On the basis of this, there can be two interpretations made: First, the headphone jack may be located on the other side of the device and second, the feature has crossed the road and gone to the ‘other side’ as in the life side to death.
