The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is just a few short days away and Samsung fans the world over are gearing up for its official unveiling on August 7, 2019. In what may come as better news to said fans, Samsung has another device up its sleeve and this is the Galaxy Fold — the much-maligned handset is officially ready to hit shelves.

As per a report by Android Community, sources have informed them that Samsung has finished testing the new and revamped Galaxy Fold and have gathered feedback from industry experts and professionals alike. They claim that the redesigned Fold has been tested extensively and is now ready to hit shelves. The report also mentions that the Galaxy Fold has passed “with flying colours” and the pain points of the device have been rectified.

The report states, “We’re still not sure about a July launch but we’re looking forward to a Q3 rollout. The hinge improvement and screen fix are coming soon. Last month, the fix wasn’t still ready but we remained positive it would be available.”

Samsung has an advantage over its nearest competitor the Huawei Mate X and its launch has been delayed up to September as the company want to be 100 per cent sure that it’s ready.

The report adds, “Samsung has a lot of work to do in making sure the Galaxy Fold is ready. It doesn’t need to be ahead of Huawei or any other OEM. What the consumers really need is a working foldable phone that doesn’t break.”
