Google Pixel 3 XL cameras with Super Selfies, updated Visual Core rumoured
Google is also expected to introduce dual front cameras in the display notch.
Over the past few weeks, a lot has already been leaked about the upcoming Google Pixel series. Recently, a bunch of camera samples captured from the Pixel 3 XL surfaced online and now a new report claims that the device would sport a dual camera setup with a wide-angle sensor on the front, and will be able to capture 'Super Selfies.'
Google is also expected to introduce dual front cameras in the display notch. As per 9to5Google, one source asserted that the selfie camera may also be used for enhancing a security/facial recognition feature.
Furthermore, these cameras are said to ship with an improved portrait mode. As for the rear, Google appears to be sticking with the single, rear-facing camera, similar to its predecessor. The company is rumoured to introduce a new Visual Core chip in the rear camera, which will be used for “more than just HDR+.” A source familiar with the matter told 9to5Google that "Google is doubling down on making a single camera powerful enough to not need a second camera.
Separately, a couple of hands-on images has already been leaked online by Ben Geskin.
Separately, a website named rozetked. me shared some camera samples of the smartphone. The company claimed that the Pixel 3 and 3 XL will not feature a double or triple camera setup and that there will be one main.
Additionally, both Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL are expected to come with the latest Android 9 Pie. The smartphone is rumoured to make its debut on October 4, which is the successor to last year's Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphone.
