Rumour update: Apple iPhone prices leak, claims three variants
Several similar rumours are being reported about the iPhone 7, but this one is different.
While there are several rumours being told about Apple’s next flagship, the iPhone 7, most of them are either similar or contradicting each other. While some market researchers and analysts say that Apple won’t put a 3.5mm headphone jack on the next iPhone, others claim that it will happen in 2017. Then there are design rumours about dual cameras, OLED displays, edgeless displays, wireless charging and many more. However, this one today comes in with a difference.
According to a new report on Softpedia, the prices for the Apple flagship iPhone 7 are leaked and the leaked information claims three different variants for the same. The prices and information on the leak reveal that the iPhone 7 will see three variants in September—a standard 4.7-incher, a Plus version with a 5.5-inch display and a Pro version with a 5.7 or 5.8-inch display. The three devices, according to the leak, will be named as iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro. While the standard iPhone 7 will sport 32GB/64GB/256GB variants, the Plus and Pro will come in 32GB/128GB and 256GB variants.
As for now, this information cannot be confirmed as completely true. However, if true, this could confirm one older rumour that the iPhone base model will not sport 16GB storage anymore. The base models would start at 32GB and go higher.
As for the prices, the rumoured picture claims that the base model would start at $799 onwards and the most expensive one will be priced at around $1,099. The Plus version will start at $899 onwards to $1,199. And lastly, the iPhone Pro will receive a price tag between $1,099 and $1,349 accordingly.
