Google is almost ready with the upcoming Android O
The latest Android O developer build brings in a lot of bug fixes and stability improvements.
September is coming, which means the Android fanboys are rubbing their hands in anticipation for the final release of the next Android version – Android O. although we don’t have an official name for the upcoming Android, Google has rolled out the final developer preview for Android O.
The latest developer build of Android 8.0 brings a lot of bug fixes and a host of improvements for enhancing the stability. Apart from the OS, the Android SDK, tools and Android Emulator will also be getting updates for compatibility with the new OS. Google has also worked on the Android Support Library to make it stable so that developers can test their apps on the newer Android version.
With the launch of this developer preview, it seems that Google is done with the majority of the hard work on Android 8.0 and could be looking forward to releasing it in the upcoming month, in a similar fashion to Android Nougat’s launch last year.
