Lenovo K9 Power smartphone to launch on Tuesday

Lenovo launched the K9 Power at the IFA 2016 trade show in Berlin.

Smartphone maker Lenovo has been dropping hints since the last couple of days via numerous teasers it has been releasing. Now reports suggest the company has officially sent out final invites for the launch of the company’s K9 Power smartphone in India. The smartphone will be unveiled at an event held at New Delhi on Tuesday at 2:30pm (IST).

Lenovo first unveiled the K9 Power smartphone at the IFA 2016 trade show that took place in Berlin. Alongside K9 Power smartphone, the company had also launched the K6 and K6 Note smartphones.

As far as the features of the Lenovo K9 Power smartphone is concerned, the device features a metal unibody design and sports a 5-inch full HD (1080x1920 pixels) display. The smartphone comes in two storage variants namely, 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB/32GB storage. It is powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor (with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.2GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz) with Adreno 505 GPU.

On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera. However, the primary highlight of the smartphone is its large 4000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the Lenovo K9 Power smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.
