The FaceID is expected to gain more popularity once the iPhone X is made available to the masses in November.

The recent rumour mill has churned out plenty of gems on Apple’s upcoming 2018 line-up and now a new report claims that the Cupertino giant is preparing a new colour variant of the iPhone X in order to boost sales.

Japanese website Makotakara says, “for the purpose of restoring sales of the iPhone X, Apple plans to release a new colour.” Sadly, the report doesn't disclose any details regarding the colour or date of release.

Currently, Apple's iPhone X is only available in two colours — Space Grey and Silver. According to the report, there seems a possibility that a third model could debut in the coming months.

Besides, a recent report also claimed that Apple has started production of a “blush gold” iPhone X. At the same time, a leakster on Twitter alleged that the tech giant is planning a (PRODUCT)RED version of its latest iPhones. If the reports are true, we could see Apple releasing a Red variant to add to its series.
