Xiaomi Mi 6 Premium with 6GB RAM tipped to feature ceramic body
The latest leaks claim that the premium variant will boast a ceramic body just like the bezel-less Xiaomi Mi Mix.
Xiaomi is expected to unveil its next flagship smartphone, the Mi 6. The device was recently tipped to come in three variants. Adding to the matter, a new leaked has surfaced over the web showing off the Premium variant of the device in its glory.
The latest leaks claim that the premium variant will boast a ceramic body just like the bezel-less Xiaomi Mi Mix. Xiaomi has already confirmed that it won’t be launching the smartphone at MWC, meaning the company will have a separate event for the Mi 6 launch. Few online reports claim that the device will sport 6GB RAM complemented with a ceramic body. However, the two flat screen variants will come with 4GB RAM.
As for the specification, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will have three variants, one which will sport a MediaTek Helio X30 processor, while the other two will sport Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 chipset. The premium version will also include an additional dual-edge curved display.
On the photography front, the smartphone will sport a 12MP rear camera with Sony’s IMX362 sensor. The device will be fuelled by a 3000mAh battery and will run Android 7.0 Nougat with company’s own MIUI 8 on the top. Reports suggest that the device will offer 218GB and 256GB storage options.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 variant with MediaTek processor is expected to be priced at CNY 1,999 (approx Rs 19,800), while the variant with SD 835 will be selling for CNY 2,499 (approx 24,800). The dual-edge screen variant is expected to be priced at Rs CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 29,800).
