There are a lot of speculations surrounding OnePlus’ plans to introduce a new smartphone this year. Previously, rumours suggested that the device will be called OnePlus 4. However, new details suggest that the upcoming speculated flagship will be named OnePlus 5.
According to a new report published by Korean website Korean Portal, the new OnePlus 5 smartphone will sport a dual-edge display with glass body. Moreover, the device is believed to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC.
Along with the new smartphone, users can expect 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. An optional 256GB of internal storage is also expected.
The device’s camera will be the primary highlight. The OnePlus 5 smartphone is rumoured to sport a 23MP rear camera to provide better shooting performance and imagery and a 16MP front camera.
Other details of the smartphone include a USB Type-C port with fast charging technology and a 4,000mAh battery.
