This Rs 5,999 smartphone provides one-year of free Internet
Datawind has launched a new smartphone called MoreGMax 3G6 in India.
Datawind is making an offer you can’t refuse. The company recently launched a new smartphone called MoreGMax 3G6 in India at a steal-price of Rs 5,999. What’s enticing is the fact that the company is offering a year full of free internet access along with this device.
The company in collaboration with Reliance will be offering free Internet to users for 12 months. The internet can be accessed only through the smartphone and won’t require any data plan or monthly fees. The first year of free unlimited Internet browsing via the UbiSurfer browser does not include audio/ video streaming or local-downloads. Datawind says users will have to purchase separate top-up plans for this.
On the specifications front, the Datawind MoreGMax 3G6 smartphone packs a 6-inch display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM, which is further expandable up to 32GB.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera along with a 2MP front snapper. Connectivity options on the device include: GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB.
