Forget Galaxy Note 10! This cheaper 5G Samsung smartphone will feature flagship specs
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A90 will definitely be a handset that’s worth keeping a watch out for.
In the past, Samsung Galaxy A-Series line-up was always considered handsets that never quite lived up to the hype of the Galaxy S or Galaxy Note Series. They were always overshadowed even though they came with specifications that were always first on Samsung handsets. This year, in a bid to revitalize the segment, Samsung is packing its a-Series handsets with features that don’t make you pine for the flagship handsets.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A90 is one such device and according to the reputed tipster, @OnLeaks, the upcoming A-Series flagship will be available in two variants and both will come with 6.7-inch panels and in-display fingerprint scanners along with triple camera setups. What’s worth noting here is that both devices will come with Snapdragon 855 chipsets; a first for the A-Series line-up to come with Qualcomm’s flagship processor.
One variant that’s codenamed SM-A908 will boast 5G support and feature a camera configuration of 48MP/8MP/5MP while the vanilla LTE version, SM-A905 will come with 48MP/12MP/5MP along with the new Tilt optical image stabilizer technology.

Seems like my sources confused internal nd commercial naming scheme.
It appears the devices I told u before will be launched as part of A Series (likely A90), not R Series 😓
My bad, I deserve nd accept my punishment 😅 pic.twitter.com/7aor3c4Pus
Popular Samsung inside, @IceUniverse stated that these A-Series devices will feature 45W fast charging and this will be a first for the South Korean brand.
If these specifications turn out to be true, the Galaxy A90 will be one of the first from Samsung to come with 5G capability as the only other Samsung handset to feature this is the Galaxy S10 5G; which of course comes with flagship-level pricing.
With these features in tow, the Samsung Galaxy A90 will be great for consumers who want flagship-level specifications such as the Snapdragon 855 chipset; but at mid-range prices.
