The W2018 is expected to come with dual 4.2-inch FHD displays. One of the displays will be placed on the flip cover, while the other display can accessed once the flip is opened.

The smartphone industry might be poised to bring sleek and innovative candy-bar phones to the table, but Samsung seems to be loyal to the flip phone design. Samsung has launched some premium level flip phones in the recent past.

The South Korean giant is expected to unveil the W2018, which will be the successor to the W2017 launched last year. If the reports are to be believed, the company will announce this device for the international markets. Earlier the W-series flip phones were only announced for the Asian markets.

Few leaks and online reports claim that Samsung will be incorporating high-end features for the W2018. A Twitter leak, first spotted by Sammobile claims that the device will have a Snapdragon 835 processor at its heart backed by 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The device was earlier spotted in the TENAA listing, but the specifications revealed in the listing are contrary to the recent leaks. The TENAA listing suggested that the W2018 had the Snapdragon 821 processor paired with 4GB of RAM instead of 6GB. The difference in the specifications also indicates that the company could launch two variants in W-series.

The W2018 is expected to come with dual 4.2-inch FHD displays. One of the displays will be placed on the flip cover, while the other display can accessed once the flip is opened.

The handset might boast a 12MP rear camera, while there will be a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. The phone is expected to draw power from a 2300mAh battery. The pricing of the phone is expected to be around $2,000 (approx Rs 1,28,000) similar to the previously launched devices in the W-series.
