Budget 6.1-inch iPhone X may not launch in red
A new rumour suggests that the 6.1-inch iPhone will debut in 5 different colours but red is not one of them.
Earlier this month, there was a rumour claiming that Apple would be launching the budget 6.1-inch iPhone X in a multitude of colours — grey, white, blue, red and orange. However, a recent report by Macotakara contradicts this claim a bit and states that the budget LCD iPhone X will be available in White, Black, Flash Yellow, Bright Orange, Electronic Blue, and Taupe or Gold.
If this report is true, then it goes against what reputed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said about which colours they would be available in. From this new leak, we can gather that the common colours from both rumours are orange, white and blue. Macotakara’s sources claim that these colours will be based on the colours iPhone X’s current line-up of leather cases.
This bit of information regarding the late release of the red iPhone should come as no surprise as Apple usually releases a Product (Red) iPhone at a later date to give it importance.
The 6.1-inch LCD iPhone X aka the budget iPhone X will cost USD 700 (approximately Rs 48,191) and the interesting part is that it will come in a plethora of colours.
For now, we should take this information with a pinch of salt as more concrete leaks will show up closer to the launch date.
