OPPO A7 with 19:9 waterdrop display launched

The smartphone sports a 6.2-inch HD+ Incell panel with a screen-to-body-ratio of 88.4 per cent.

OPPO has launched its latest mid-range smartphone – the OPPO A7 under its A series. The device comes with dual rear cameras and with a large 4230mAh battery. It also features a Waterdrop notch along with 3D artistic texture on the back cover.

The smartphone sports a 6.2-inch HD+ Incell panel with a screen-to-body-ratio of 88.4 per cent and Gorilla Glass protection. The company has also provided an anti-reflective coating that helps increase the display brightness by 35 per cent. It runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1. At its core, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset, paired with Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB RAM and  32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB.

The OPPO A7 features a 13MP+2MP dual rear camera setup and a 16MP front shooter with an f/2.0 aperture with a wide-angle front camera. In terms of connectivity, the device includes Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, GLONASS, micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset is backed by a 4230mAh battery.

The smartphone is priced at Rs 16,990 and will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Amazon and PayTM Mall. The OPPO A7 will be available in two colour variants — Glaring Gold and Glaze Blue.
