ASUS has finally launched the Zenfone 3S Max in India. The new smartphone, sports a massive 5000mAh battery, and will be a boon for those seeking longer runtime for their smartphones. The device priced at Rs 14,999.

The ZenFone 3S Max similar to the Pegasus 3s, launched earlier in china this year. The device sports an all-metal body with a fingerprint sensor below the physical home button upfront. The camera and a dual-tone LED flash are located towards the left top-corner on the rear. However, ASUS seems to have dropped the laser auto-focus and the signature concentric circles for this model.

Additionally, one can also use the 3S for charging other smartphones and gadgets by reverse charging using an OTG cable in powerbank mode.

The 3S Max is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz MediaTek chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, expandable up to 2TB using a micro SD card. The device sports f/2.0 13MP PixelMaster rear and 8MP font cameras. The display is a 5.2-incher HD (720P) LCD display with a 2.5D protection glass. The rear camera is also capable of capturing photos with a super resolution of 52MP. Other features include dual-CIM 4G hybrid slots, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi ac, Android Nougat 7.0 operating system and built-in blue-light filter. The ASUS ZenFone 3S Max will be available in two colour variants — Black and Sand Gold, and sale starts immediately post the launch.
