A new rumour now suggests that BlackBerry is planning on integrating the best camera features in its Mercury device. Tech journalist Roland Quandt tweeted a picture on 27 January that indicates that the BlackBerry device codenamed ‘Mercury’ packs in the same sensor as Google Pixel, i.e. 12MP Sony IMX378.
This is the third smartphone after Google Pixel and Xiaomi Mi 5s that packs the same sensor.
According to previous leaks and rumours, the Mercury device is expected to feature a 4.5-inch display with 1620x1080 resolution, Snapdragon 821 or 625, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, an 8MP front camera and Android 7.0 Nougat.
