Panasonic unveils Eluga I3 Mega with 4000mAh battery for Rs 11,490

Panasonic has announced the launch of its Eluga I3 Mega smartphone for the Indian market. The device is priced at Rs 11,490 and will be available through company’s authorised retailers.

As per the specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and boasts a 2.5D curved glass screen. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable using a microSD card.

It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera, while there is a 5MP front facing camera also on board. The smartphone will ship in Champagne Gold and Silver colours.

On the connectivity front, the Eluga I3 Mega offers 4G with VoLTE that supports the LTE bands in India - FDD 1800MHz (Band 3) and TDD 2300MHz (Band 40) - as well as FDD 850MHz (Band 5). The smartphone draws power from a huge 4000mAh battery and also has dual-SIM functionality.
